Who We Are

Justin and Lindsey Holcomb

Justin Holcomb (Executive Director) has traveled, every year since 2001, to southern Sudan to teach chaplains in the Sudanese Peoples Liberation Army and to start and maintain Mosaic projects and partnerships. He is also a minister and professor. He teaches at Reformed Theologial Seminary and taught at the University of Virginia and Emory University. Justin also serves as a minister at Mars Hill Church in Seattle.

Lindsey Holcomb (Program Director) has an MS in International Public Health from Tourou University, where her graduate research was on violence against women and public health responses. She previously worked at a domestic violence shelter and at a sexual assault crisis center. In 2007, she traveled to southern Sudan and Uganda to review project proposals for Mosaic to support.

Ellen Davis graduated from the University of Virginia School of Nursing with BSNs in Nursing. She co-directs Clean Hands Uganda. Ellen is currently a nurse at Vanderbilt University and is studying to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.


Leah Welbourn Nelson graduated from the University of Virginia School of Nursing with BSNs in Nursing. Leah co-directs Clean Hands Uganda. Leah is a nurse at Emory University and is also studying to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.
